More and more companies are using internal resources – managers and the best specialists – to train their employees. They are the ones who know the company’s style and corporate standards best, and are familiar with the company’s specific services and products. However, not always a person who is a good specialist in a field can transfer their knowledge and skills to others.


One of the main goals of adult training is to achieve changes in behavior and actions. What motivates people to change something? How to get people to not only participate in training but also actively think and create experience? How to most accurately build training content according to specific needs and audiences? – about this in this course.


The Train The Trainer course is stable, valuable and vital for anyone who is engaged in adult training. Especially for those who not only share knowledge but also train the skills and shape the attitude of their colleagues. Working method

Lectures, discussions, practical tasks, independent work. During the course, the theory will be tested and implemented in practice and in the tasks to be performed so that the participants can immediately use the learned method when creating their own training courses and planning training.

Program

Day 1

1. Andragogy – adult training:

What is Andragogy? What distinguishes adult training from children's training? What is learning and what is training? The purpose of adult training.


2. Principles of adult learning:

  • Readiness.

  • Experience.

  • Responsibility.

  • Application.


If the trainer understands how to involve these principles in the training process, participants are guaranteed to participate actively, responsibly, and effectively. Adherence to these principles ensures mutual respect and trust between the trainer and participants. This is also an essential basis for adults to make a decision to actively think and accept experience in specific training.


3. 8 trainer skills:

  1. Provide a goal and clear tasks.

  2. Check and respect the knowledge, skills and experience of participants.

  3. Provide easy-to-understand explanations and instructions, instructions.

  4. Provide appropriate examples.

  5. Create content so that participants have a balance between talking and doing.

  6. Ensure learning through questions and observations.

  7. Constructively provide feedback.

  8. Create an effective conclusion.


Each of these skills is based on specific methods and knowledge. During the course, participants try this methodology both as learning participants and analyze it as trainers.


4. Creating a training plan (lesson or module):


A specific structure is offered on which to build an effective training plan, which includes careful analysis, application and planning of all stages. The specific training plan helps to understand the basis of adult training more deeply and thoroughly. Such a unified training plan in any company means that any trainer can teach a specific module, because everyone has a clear common standard.


Day 2


1. Training content design. Principles of content sequencing and grouping:

  • Involving different senses in training.

  • What is remembered better in training.

  • Suitability.

  • Priorities.

  • Sequence (logical links).

  • Two-way communication.

  • Feedback.

  • Exercises, activities.

  • These principles ensure more accurate and effective content layout and creation.


2. Trainer's presentation skills - eye contact, posture, movement in space, gestures, appearance, facial expressions, voice, intonation and language level.


3. Group dynamics and management. How to work with a difficult group? What are the risks in teaching? How to work with them? What can be prevented in advance and how?


4. Teaching methods. Which methods are more effective for a specific content and why? How to choose and adapt methods correctly?


Day 3


Practice, practice, practice!


Participants demonstrate homework - their chosen and prepared module (15 min presentation). The presentation is based on a learning plan with a set goal and learning objectives. The task of the participants is to implement all the knowledge and skills acquired in the course and achieve the set objectives.


The presenters receive constructive feedback from the instructor and other participants. Through analysis and recommendations, performance is improved, and participants learn by observing and analyzing the performance of their colleagues, gaining ideas, expanding their knowledge, and strengthening their ability to provide constructive feedback.
