Stress and emotions in challenging circumstances
2 hours
Stress and trauma - what is it really? When we are in very intense circumstances that we cannot control and define, we still have our zone of control - what happens inside us. When we understand what stress is and how to prevent it from turning into trauma (and what to do when we are hurt), it is easier for us to stay in control of what is happening within us. Our thoughts and bodily reactions create our emotions. Emotions - what to do when they take over?
In the lecture, we will talk about what can and should be done when there are a lot of emotions, and what actions lead to a decrease in emotional stress. If each member of the organization regulates their emotions, cooperation will be much easier and more pleasant. Each of us can do a lot about our thoughts, bodily reactions, and emotions.
The lecture offers practical methods for regulating and stabilizing your emotional state.
Method of work: a lecture in the form of a narrative with theory and examples, questions and answers.
