Business language
Written communication is an important, but often underestimated part of modern business communication. It creates an impression of our knowledge, experience, and skills. By improving our language, we can better formulate thoughts and argue our opinions, as well as create more targeted and accurate communication with clients and cooperation partners.
In this practical course, we will examine current issues of Latvian grammar and stylistics in business text. We will analyze the most common mistakes and learn to improve our manner of expression and style.

Rules for spelling surnames.
3. Word formation deficiencies:
Choice of derivatives.
Semantics of compounds.
4. Form formation deficiencies:
Choice of grammatical categories of nouns - declension of nouns, choice of gender, number, grammatical category of certainty/indeterminacy.
Choice of grammatical categories of verbs - order, expression, tense.
Use of participles.
Choice of prepositions.
5. Syntactic deficiencies:
Creating a grammatical center.
Word order.
Negation in a sentence.
