A workshop for practicing courage. How to overcome stage fright?

Regardless of how well-prepared the presentation is, speaking in front of an audience causes fear, anxiety, stress, or even panic for many. Trembling of the legs, hands, or voice, headaches, inability to concentrate, etc. – this affects both the speaker’s well-being and the presentation.

This is not therapy. This is a practical workshop for conversations about insecurity in front of an audience. When we understand the reasons for insecurity, we can start working with them to change old ideas and begin to cultivate courage. This meeting is the beginning of individual work with ourselves on overcoming fear and honing our speech style.

During the workshop:

  • we will study fear;

  • we will learn to turn anxiety into useful anxiety;

  • we will learn calming breathing techniques;

  • we will do physical exercises to relieve body tension;

  • we will try a posture that increases courage;

  • we will warm up our mouths and tongues for clear diction;

  • and.... let's talk!

Speaking is the best way to overcome insecurity in front of an audience. Therefore, participants should be prepared to speak in small groups and come with homework - ideas and information for a one-two minute speech. Enthusiasm is a good helper for public speaking training, so participants should choose a topic that they WANT to talk about.
