Emotional intelligence (EI) is a hot topic in both modern academic and organizational environments.
Emotions permeate our personality and everyday interactions with others. The ability to regulate and manage them is one of the most essential competencies that allows us to work well, successfully cooperate with others, and help maintain good health.
In this course, we will explore together what our emotions tell us, and learn practical techniques for managing emotions in the short and long term.

Self-awareness (self-awareness)
The basic element that is the basis for the possibility of developing EI. It most directly affects our thoughts, behavior and decisions.
What do we need to know about ourselves in order to develop self-awareness?
Our values, strengths and weaknesses, needs, desires, beliefs, our physiology and, of course, emotions.
Fear – an emotion that influences our behavior in a variety of situations.

Self-management (self-regulation)
What reactions occur in our brain in stressful situations – the 4F theory.
