Argumentation and critical thinking presenter.
Is engaged in a non-profit project called SkeptiCafe popularizing critical thinking and science. Developed his skill in argumentation by being involved in the Latvian debating community. Juris has participated in several debating tournaments in Latvia and internationally, as both a participant, as well as a referee.
Juris is a great science enthusiast and is interested in the influence of science and technology on society.
He has hosted a podcast Svarīgās detaļas [Important Details], in which he has had discussions with various people, like, for example, Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, Inga Spriņģe, Valdis Zatlers, Krista Vāvere and many others. He discussed realizations that he has made through doing his work and from life as a whole, with the podcast guests.
Is currently the youngest programmer at the MAK IT company.
Has been collaborating with TRIVIUMS since 2022. Presents critical thinking and argumentation training in the Latvian and English languages.
